This Factory is located near Haneda Airport in Ota-ku, in the City of Tokyo.  Since its foundation in 1933, it has developed as production facility for Pharmaceutical Products. 

    Kamata Factory respects GMP and has a complete production line from manufacturing to packaging. 

    Revision of the Pharmaceutical Affair Law in Japan in 1993 has placed stringent requirements for manufacturing of pharmaceutical products, such as the need for advanced quality control including validation.

    Iwaki has complied with these requirements for our production of Ethical Drugs, OTC Drugs, Drugs Listed in the JP, and Quasi Drugs.  Some of the main products manufactured here include “NEOJODIN SOLUTION”, a Disinfectant with 20-year history.  In the field of generic drugs, we manufacture External Preparations (ointments, creams, lotions) which has the biggest share of the market, as well as “SHINLUCK SOLUTION”, a gentle acting Laxative.  In the area of OTC Drugs, we manufacture “Vitamin C” in forms of active ingredients, tablets and chewable, as well as “NEOJODIN GARGLE” which protects the throat.  We endeavor to produce reliable and high quality pharmaceuticals based on pharmaceutical manufacturing technologies nurtured over many years.  One section of Kamata Factory is set aside for the R & D of Pharmaceuticals.  Proximity of both Production and R & D functions promotes development of new products as well as improvement of product quality.
